Lisa is a Grants Manager within our Grants Audit team, specialising in auditing grants funded by major UK and international bodies, including Innovate UK, Horizon Europe, DEFRA, and ARIA. These funders support cutting-edge research, innovation, and sustainability projects, and Lisa ensures compliance with their specific regulations and funding terms.
Lisa joined PEM in September 2024, bringing over 16 years of experience in the fast-moving consumer goods industry, where she progressed to Operations Director across two sites. In that role, she led teams, managed budgets, and drove continuous improvement initiatives. Her achievements include securing grant funding for site refurbishment and workforce expansion, implementing quality management systems, and maintaining high standards of compliance and customer service.
Now overseeing our grant audit service, Lisa combines technical accuracy with a client-focused approach to make the audit process clear and stress-free. Her unique perspective, having successfully applied for and managed significant funding before moving into audit enables her to offer practical, empathetic guidance to clients navigating complex compliance requirements.
Outside of work, Lisa loves being outdoors and immersed in nature. Gardening is one of her biggest passions, and she enjoys creating wildlife-friendly spaces. She also loves exploring remote places, baking, supporting Arsenal Women and the Lionesses, and has recently taken up ballroom and Latin dancing with her partner.
