Audit Senior – Audit & Accounts

We are seeking an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant (or finalist) who can demonstrate an in-depth understanding of all parts of the audit process from planning through to completion. Deal Originator – Corporate Finance

Our Corporate Finance team are looking for a charismatic and commercially minded deal originator to join our team. You will play a vital role in our team identifying, originating, and analysing strategic growth opportunities that could cover new market developments, potential new M&A, and valuation projects, or establishing new sectors of focus.

You will be responsible for qualifying potential new clients using effective sales screening, supporting senior members of the team with business development projects and developing an extensive knowledge base across several sectors.

Manager – Employment Tax

Our Employment Tax team is growing, and we are looking for an experienced manager to join our team.

Your responsibilities will include providing expert advice and guidance to our clients on employee share incentives, designing and implementing share option schemes, advising on employment related securities, agreeing share valuations with HMRC, assisting clients with HMRC share scheme compliance as well as general employment tax matters.

Working for existing Employment Tax clients and new clients on advisory and compliance matters with the ability to convert referral opportunities (both internally and externally from a strong network) into fees for the team. The role involves a great deal of client contact. External/internal promotion of employment tax services is required to generate new opportunities including presentations and networking.

Tax Adviser – Employment Tax

Our Employment Tax team is growing and we are looking for a full or part-qualified CTA to join our team. Ideally you will have employment tax experience but we would be pleased to speak with you if you have been working in other areas of tax and would like a change in direction.

You will play a crucial role in our close-knit team providing expert advice and guidance to our clients on all aspects of the team’s work including employee share incentives, international employments, and general employment tax matters.

The role is outward facing with significant contact with clients, referrers, other departments within PEM and HMRC. You will be an excellent communicator who enjoys working within a team who is looking for a varied and dynamic career.

Tax Compliance Processor – Private Clients

As tax compliance processor, you will be responsible for processing our clients tax return data for our compliance team. You will work closely with managers and tax advisers to generate tax returns, request client information and assist with the preparation of client bills. This is an excellent opportunity for applicants who have an good eye for detail, work accurately and enjoy working in a busy team environment.

Manager – Virtual Finance Office

The Virtual Finance Office – PEM’s managed accounting service team provides a full ‘back office’ facility to client companies and organisations, including bookkeeping, management reporting, credit control and general business support.

We are looking for a manager to work closely with the directors and partners to ensure excellent delivery of the service to our clients, and manage the team effectively to meet client deadlines and respond quickly to clients changing needs.

You will be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified and have a good understanding of the requirements of a commercial accounts department.

From data entry, ledger management to bookkeeping and management reporting – this role is ideal for someone with a ‘can do’ attitude, has great customer service and communication skills and a high level of IT literacy, particularly within accounting software.
