David joined PEM in 2016 as an Audit Trainee after completing an MSc in Accounting and Finance at Aston University. He qualified as an ICAEW Chartered Accountant in 2020 and has since developed a strong focus on the charity and not-for-profit sector.
Initially working across a variety of entity types, David discovered a passion for supporting organisations that make a difference. Since 2022, he has specialised in the preparation and independent examination of statutory financial statements for charities and not-for-profits of all sizes.
David’s expertise is backed by advanced qualifications, and in 2022, he completed the ICAEW Diploma in Charity Accounting and Financial Management at Bayes Business School, earning the DChA designation and is currently pursuing an MSc in Charity Accounting and Financial Management at Bayes Business School, and is due to graduate in 2026.
Outside of work, David is an avid tennis player who previously competed for Coventry and Warwickshire. He also has a growing collection of rare, pristine tennis racquets, so extensive that he may soon run out of space to store them!
