Patience holds a post graduate diploma in Accounting as well as a BCom in Accounting. She trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PwC South Africa in 2012 and has since gained almost 14 years experience working for 5 audit & accounting firms, two of which are in the big four.
Patience has experience of auditing various industries within the UK and internationally including: manufacturing, healthcare & life sciences, technology, hospitality & entertainment, education, AIM Listed, LSE listed and NASDAQ listed, amongst others. She further has experience in managing group audits both as group auditor and component auditor, including cross-border audit and performs hot file reviews as EQCR assistant as well as cold file reviews.
In her role as Technical Director, Patience is responsible for; responding to technical questions in Audit and Accounting, assisting the firm with implementing and monitoring SQM in compliance with quality standards, performing hot and cold file reviews, and producing technical updates.
Patience is a fast learner, great team player, shows attention to detail and has a great attitude for supporting her clients and their needs. Her resourcefulness means she is a great problem solver and can tackle any issue with force.
Apart from spending time with friends and family, Patience enjoys singing, reading, watching a good comedy film and exploring nature.
