PEM Charitable Trust donates 100 grants!.

The PEM Charitable Trust are delighted to have donated 100 grants since 2022, which equates to over £70,000!

Our 100th donation was to the fantastic charity Romsey Mill, who provide youth development, young parents, autism and social enterprise services around Cambridgeshire. The £2000 grant from the PEM Charitable Trust will be used for their Young Mums project, supporting young Mums who face isolation, low confidence and anxiety. The grant will fund a series of local trips such as café meetups, visits to local attractions, and baby-friendly activities, that create safe, welcoming opportunities for young mums to build relationships with Romsey Mill staff and peers.

Neil Perry, CEO said “We are deeply grateful to PEM for their generous £2,000 donation to our Young Parents Programme. This funding will enable vital engagement activities and meet-ups, empowering young mums to connect with and benefit from our support services. We especially appreciate Amy Hayden, PEM’s ESG & Community Lead, for taking the time to visit us at Romsey Mill and engage with Heather Duke, our Young Parents Programme Lead, to fully understand our needs. We look forward to building a long and fruitful partnership with PEM to further our work in the local Community.”

To celebrate PEM’s 150th year, we have set the ambitious target of donating 150 grants by the end of 2025. We are ecstatic that we have hit the two thirds mark, and continue to look for small Cambridgeshire charities who would benefit from grants between £100-£2000.

All details on how to apply can be found here, or you can email csr@pem.co.uk for more information.
