PEM Charitable Trust

The PEM Charitable Trust is proud to support local charities through grants of up to £2000. We are delighted to have given over £95,000 to local causes.

We proudly launched the PEM Charitable Trust in 2018, which has enabled us to be more agile and to support smaller, local charities. We wanted our giving to be meaningful and personal to our people.

How does the PEM Charitable Trust work?

The PEM Charitable Trust is a registered charity (registered charity number 1181792), managed by four internal trustees – James Burrett, Kelly Bretherick, Warren Tilbury and Michael Godfrey, and one external trustee – Laurence Weeks.

The trustees work alongside our internal grant-giving committee which represents a variety of departments across the firm (who review the applications and decide on who should receive grants). This committee allows our employees to decide which causes are closest to the heart of the firm, and to really see the difference PEM can make.

We are delighted to say we donated our 150th grant in 2025, in celebration of our 150th year!
