Join us for the next East Anglia Rural Professionals Group meeting with Cambridgeshire farmer and host of the UK Cereals event, Robert Law.
First generation farmer Robert started farming in the Royston area in 1981 and has expanded his business, Law Farming by purchasing land, share farming, renting and farming land under management agreements. As well as farming 1600ha from his Royston base Robert also manages a farm in Nottinghamshire as well as being a partner in an estate in the Scottish Highlands. In 2020 Law Farming will host the Cereals event for the fifth time at Chrishall Grange.
In 2006 Robert won the prestigious Farmers Weekly ‘Farmer of the year Award’ and was judged to be ‘a truly determined farmer who combines a thriving business with a passion for the countryside and promoting farming to the public’.
In his presentation Robert will discuss his entry into farming, the growth of Law Farming over the years to its present size, the challenges and opportunities facing the future of his business and farming as we enter unchartered waters.
The event will start at 8.00am with a networking breakfast followed by the presentation which is expected to run from 8:30am-9:30am. There is a small charge of £10 per head to cover the cost of facilities. To book your place please complete the form below.
