PEM is looking to the future with the appointment of two new partners.

In the current situation when all businesses, including PEM, are overcoming the most challenging of circumstances, it’s important we celebrate positive news such as the promotions of Sean McCann and Bertie Newman who have both been appointed as partners in the Audit & Accounts department as of 1st April 2020.

Sean, who joined PEM in 2008, advises corporate clients, ranging from pre-revenue start-ups to large corporate groups, and professional firms. On his promotion Sean said:

“The training and support PEM has given me since I joined, almost 13 years ago, has been excellent and I wouldn’t be where I am today without their support. I’m looking forward to stepping up to my new role to provide the best results for our clients and continuing my journey with such an excellent team.”

Bertie, who joined the firm as a Director in 2018 after previously working at Grant Thornton and has significant experience advising growing businesses, including those with international operations, said:

“Cambridge continues to be a thriving city and community with PEM recognised by clients, intermediaries and colleagues for its agile, joined-up service.  I’m delighted at the opportunity to join the partnership team, particularly in these uncertain times, when working together to support our clients is our priority.”

Managing Partner, Warren Tilbury commented:

“I’m delighted to announce these two appointments – they reflect our growth aspirations and demonstrate our ability to invest, nurture and develop outstanding individuals. In uncertain times, our commitment to a thriving audit and accounts team is clear. Bertie and Sean bring considerable experience to our existing team and I wish them every success in their new roles.”
