We are delighted to announce that Mary Shoesmith has been promoted to partner of our private client team bringing the total number of partners in the firm to 16.
Mary, who joined PEM in September 2015, provides compliance and tax advice tax to individuals and trustees specialising in inheritance tax planning, capital gains tax planning and residency issues. She has spent part of her career teaching tax trainees and worked for a number of years with the Chartered Institute of Taxation to develop the CTA exams.
On her appointment, Mary commented
