Account Assistant, Virtual Finance Office

We are looking for an Account Assistant to join our busy Virtual Finance Office team. The VFO Department provides a full ‘back office’ facility to client companies and organisations, including bookkeeping, management reporting, credit control and general business support. VFO account assistants will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of the service, working closely with the account managers and under direction of the assistant manager/manager of VFO. The ideal candidate will be looking to further their career in accounting, will be numerate and have an interest in developing a career in a practice environment. Strong Sage/Excel experience is essential. Study options will be available for the right candidate.

Account Manager, Virtual Finance Office Team

We are looking for an Account Manager to join our Virtual Finance Office Team. The ideal candidate will be minimum AAT Qualified, have portfolio management experience and will have used cloud based accounting The VFO department provides a full ‘back office’ facility to client companies and organisations, including bookkeeping, management reporting, credit control and general business support. The department assistant manager will work closely with the manager and partners to help promote and develop the department to both new and existing clients of PEM. The role includes assisting in the management and development of the Virtual Finance Office (VFO) department, assisting in managing a small team, and ensuring a high level of service to our varied client base.

Manager, Personal Tax

We are recruiting for a Manager within our Private Clients team to be responsible for assisting Partners/Directors in the smooth running of their groups and for ensuring that technical work is carried out in accordance with the firm's standards and procedures. This Manager will be responsible for their own portfolio of clients and expected to deliver a first class service for clients and PEM staff. Must be CTA qualified, STEP desirable but not essential. Corporate Finance Manager/Assistant Manager

The successful candidate will support and fully participate in all projects including the full process from networking and marketing, to pitching, to deal execution of management buyouts, acquisitions and disposals. The successful candidate will be responsible for their own portfolio of cases including corporate and personal cases and assisting other team members with tasks on an ad-hoc basis. Qualified Accountant - (Audit Senior)

We are currently looking for a Qualified senior audit accountant who will be responsible for the completion of audit and accounting assignments both in and outside of the office and will also be responsible for managing the jobs under their control. This role will include general accounting involving mainly audit work, with some account jobs and taxation computations. Work will be detailed and you may provide a supervisory role to students in respect of other client work, working with a varied client base. Must be ACA or ACCA qualified with a minimum of 3 years' experience.
