Harry Oughton

After graduating from the University of Nottingham with a first class degree in biology, Harry worked as a Business Analyst, gaining experience in ERP implementation and financial systems, before joining PEM in January 2020. He qualified as an ICAEW Chartered Accountant in 2023. 

Harry is responsible for managing a portfolio of audit clients, predominantly within the life sciences and technology sectors, including owner managed businesses, VC-backed companies and corporate groups. He takes the time to get to know his clients and understand their businesses, enabling him to provide a more tailored service and offer practical support as they grow and develop. Harry has experience working with businesses reporting under both FRS 102 and IFRS. 

Harry enjoys developing strong relationships with his clients and acting as a key point of contact throughout the audit process. He has particular experience in complex accounting areas affecting growing businesses, including revenue recognition, share-based payments and debt and equity financing arrangements. 

Outside of work, Harry spends much of his spare time keeping active, with a particular interest in weight training and fitness. When he’s not in the gym, Harry enjoys travelling and experiencing new places around the world.
