Charlie Gold

Manager | Audit & Accounts

Charlie is a Manager in PEM’s Audit team, specialising in owner-managed businesses and the software sector. He joined PEM in 2021 as a Trainee after completing his undergraduate degree at the University of Southampton and qualified as an ACA Chartered Accountant in 2024.

Charlie manages a varied portfolio of clients reporting under both IFRS and UK GAAP, ranging from corporate groups and overseas groups to individual companies and Cambridge Colleges. He focuses on delivering a smooth audit process while helping clients navigate changes in financial reporting requirements.

His experience with Cambridge Colleges has given him an understanding of the particular environment in which they operate and the need for a tailored approach. Charlie also works with international groups, where effective project management and coordination are an important part of delivering the audit.

Charlie has a particular interest in investments and enjoys discussing clients’ portfolios, including investment property, equities and securities.

Outside of work, Charlie has a love for coffee and enjoys playing padel, running and travelling the world.
