Audit and Accountancy
The production of accurate and timely year end accounts is essential for assessing past financial performance and planning for future development. Many organisations require those accounts to be audited and presented in compliance with legal requirements and as reassurance to other stakeholders such as funders.
We always work closely with your own accounts department to maximise the work which they carry out. Our team will then assist with the final preparation of accounts to ensure that they comply with statutory and other accounting requirements. We place particular importance on providing continuity of staff from one assignment to the next so that you are dealing with people familiar with your organisation. Our audit approach is designed to satisfy us that your accounting systems form a reliable basis for the preparation of year end accounts. As part of this process we undertake a review of your systems and controls and recommend any improvements or changes that may be appropriate. This incorporates a review of your management accounts and reporting procedures. We aim to provide a prompt and efficient service, completing audit assignments and finalising accounts as soon as possible. Once complete, we discuss with you key findings of the audit and assist in identifying from your accounts those aspects of your business which can be improved.
