Our Services
Forensic Accounting
Peters Elworthy and Moore has provided forensic accounting services for a considerable number of years. In 2001 we joined the National Network of Forensic Accountants (NIFA). As a member of NIFA we are required to set and apply high standards of forensic accountancy, and our work is subject to an independent quality control review.
Our forensic accountancy service is tailored to each scenario and involves detailed research of the case followed by the application of forensic accountancy principles. This results in an expert witness report suitable for submission to the courts, if necessary. The service is provided by two expert witnesses, who have provided forensic accounting advice in a variety of litigation cases, including;
- Personal Injury
- Share and Business Valuations
- Matrimonial Disputes
- Criminal Cases
- Loss of Earnings / Pensions
- Professional Negligence
- Clinical Negligence
- Contract Disputes
The expert witnesses are Roger Guthrie, partner in PEM, and Jeannette Hume, manager.
